Andy Goldstraw, Painter and CGI Artist

I started painting very young at 7 years of age and at 9 years old became the youngest ever artist to exhibit and sell in the Great Sheffield Art Show.

I began painting landscapes in watercolours when I was young but now in my adult years I am drawn to using acrylics and painting portraiture of famous people including Jessica Ennis, Cassandra Petersen (Elvira), Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon and numerous others.

I became an online success on http://www.deviantart.com/andy-goldstraw recently becoming one of the most viewed artists on the site.

Painting has always been important to me and is a great way to relax and de-stress.

I am influenced by the artwork of Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell and Frank Frazetta.

Manga art has become a big area of interest to me and I enjoy reading about new and old anime designs including Akira and Ghost In The Shell.

I also create digital art alongside my traditional paintings
